Summary of announcements made on the 11th Jul 2010

1)Male volunteers are needed to assist the car park during temple festival days, which starts Saturday 24th July and finish 15th August. The times during which the car park needs to be assisted are 6:30pm to 10:00pm each day and additional slots are from 8.30am to 1.30pm on weekends. Those who wish to take part please contact brother Lavan.

2) A presentation on Bowel Cancer

Janet Broadbent from the NHS Endoscopy Unit will be in this mandir on Thursday 22nd July. She will be doing a presentation on, “How to prevent Bowel cancer, which is becoming a common threat to the age group of over 50s”. It will be a valuable and informative presentation. All are welcome.

3) A sad announcement

It is with deep regret that we announce the sad demise of Mr S. Sivayogan, husband of our former UK national chair Mrs Rajes Sivayogan. He passed away on Monday, 5th July.
