Summary of announcements made on the 7th March 2010

1. Update from National Chair on National Pilgrimage 2010

Please see attached letter from National Chair, Shitu Chudasama for the update on National Pilgrimage to Prashanthi during August 2010.

2. Vedic Chanting Classes

The Sai Students will be running Veda chanting classes open to all devotees ( adults, youth and children),and it is recommended that all those who are joining the national pilgrimage 2010 attend these sessions.

Region-1 will be holding classes every other Saturday, starting on 13th March 2010 from 4:00pm to 6:00 pm at the Sai Mandir, 131-133 Effra road, Wimbledon, London SW19 8PU.

Please see the attached document for the significant of Veda chanting and the details for other regions that are holding these classes. Please make sure all the devotees who are joining the group are notified of this information. We would like to express our gratitude to the Sai Mandir authorities and Sai Students for running these classes in the region without any cost to devotees.

Food for homeless

Volunteers are needed to support Food for homeless service activity on Sundays. As most of you are aware we have been distributing food parcels for homeless on Sundays. We kindly request volunteers to help particularly cooking on Sunday mornings. You may volunteer on a regular or one-off basis. For further details please contact our Seva coordinator bro Lavan.
