Summary of announcements made on the 21st February 2010

1. National Pilgrimage 2010 to Prashanthi

Every one of those who are wishing to join the pilgrimage including those who submitted hard copy forms recently, must register your details on the online registration form before 27th Feb 2010.

The online registration form is available on the following website,

www.nationalpilgrimage.org.uk

We are able to arrange optional travel arrangements for those who wish to travel in a group. We have negotiated for discounted air fare with Kingfisher airlines from Heathrow airport to Bangalore.

Date: Depart 29th July 2010 at 9.00pm from Heathrow airport and arrive Bangalore on the following day, 30th July at 3.00pm

Return 10th August 2010, morning from Bangalore.

Ticket fare: £435 per passenger

Those who whish to stay longer in India can change date and destination with an additional cost

These travel arrangements are purely optional. Those who wishes to make own travel arrangements please do so.

2. Youth Choir – 2nd Rehearsals towards National pilgrimage 2010.

Next youth choir rehearsal with Dana Gillespie will be held on sat 27th Feb 2010, between 10.00am and 4.30pm at Region 2 – Wembley Sai Centre. The address is Dennis Hall, London Road, Wembley, Middlesex, HA9 7EU.

3. Food for homeless

Volunteers are needed to support Food for homeless service activity on Sundays. As most of you are aware we have been distributing food parcels for homeless on Sundays. We kindly request volunteers to help particularly cooking on Sunday mornings. You may volunteer on a regular or one-off basis. For further details please contact our Seva coordinator bro Lavan (service@saimandir.org.uk).

4. Gayathri mantra chanting

The next monthly gayathri mantra chanting session will take place on Saturday 27th February 2010 between 7 and 8 pm. All are welcome.
