Sai Mandir News (15.03.20 - 21.03.20)

Summary of announcements made on the 15.03.20

1.       Due to the unprecedented spread of coronavirus (COVID-19) in the UK, we kindly request all the devotees to follow the guidelines set by the Public Health England. The most common symptoms of coronavirus are recent onset of a new continuous cough and/or high temperature. If you have these symptoms, however mild, stay at home and do not leave your house for 7 days from when your symptoms started. There are several notices displayed in the Temple premises to remind you about the basic hygiene routines. Wash your hands more often than usual, for 20 seconds using soap and hot water provided, particularly after coughing, sneezing or blowing your nose. To reduce the spread of germs when you cough or sneeze, cover your mouth and nose with a tissue, or your sleeve (not your hands) if you don’t have a tissue, and throw the tissue away immediately. Then wash your hands. Please stay safe and intensify prayers for everyone’s well-being and safety. For further details, please speak to Brother Jeyakara or Brother Suresh.

2.       Sathya Sai International Organisation UK request all devotees to participate enthusiastically in the daily and weekly prayer initiatives. Please join us every night at 9pm for a brief prayer when devotees across the UK will be chanting the Gayathri Mantra nine times. The national team will be leading virtual prayers at 8:30pm on Sundays for 30 minutes via the YouTube channel. Let us pray for Swami’s Blessings and Grace for all those affected across the globe. For further details, please contact Brother Sakthi or Sister Vasuki.
