Special Assemblies
Special Assemblies are held at 4pm, straight after the SSE Children’s Bhajan every 1 st Sunday of the Month. Each SSE Group takes it in turn to do a special Assembly on a festival from one of the major religions of the world that is celebrated in that particular month.
These assemblies were created in order to broaden the knowledge of the participating children and the watching devotees about different festivals and their inner spiritual meanings. The children enjoy taking part in these assemblies, which can include readings, short plays, singing and traditional dance.
These are the proposed festivals that will be covered this year (notification up to July):
