Please note that there is currently no lift facility to access the Mandir. Access to the hall is reached via stairs.

Opening Times

The Sai Mandir is open 7 days a week, from 9am - 10pm for individual prayer and meditation

Sai Mandir News Archive - contains announcements that are made at the Sai Mandir, at the end of each bhajan service. Please check the latest Sai Mandir News article from the News archive,for the most up to date announcements reflecting any previous news ammendments.


Merton Sai Centre - The Merton Sai Centre is an affiliated centre of the Sathya Sai Service Organisation, UK, and meets regularly in the Mandir for bhajans and other spiritual activities.


Bhajans - (Group Devotional Singing) takes place 3 times a week in the Mandir.


Education - Many education-based activities take place in the Sai Mandir, including Sai Spiritual Educational Classes, Study Circles, a Parent Study Group , School Visits & Interfaith Group Visits.


History - The Sai Mandir was the first purpose-built Mandir in Europe dedicated to Bhagavan Sri Sathya Sai Baba and was founded in 1981.

Guidelines for Behaviour


Please can you observe the following guidelines whilst within the Mandir.

  • Maintain Silence.
  • No eating or drinking
  • No donations
  • Dress modestly
  • Switch off mobile phones
